Caramel French Toast
Ingredients
1 cup half & half
4 large eggs
½ cup Monin Caramel Syrup
¼ tsp salt
6-8 slices brioche bread (1 inch thick)
4 tbsp butter
Monin Caramel Sauce (for garnish)
Candied pecans (optional for garnish)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 190°C
In a bowl, whisk together half & half, eggs, Monin Caramel Syrup, and salt
Dip bread slices in custard mixture, soaking for 30 seconds per side ,Let sit for 1-2 minutes
Heat 1 tbsp butter in a sauté pan over medium-low heat Cook 2 slices at a time, flipping until golden (2-3 minutes per side)
Place cooked bread on a rack in the oven for 5 minutes Repeat with remaining slices
Garnish with Monin Caramel Sauce and candied pecans before serving
