Ingredients
- 1 cup half & half
- 4 large eggs
- ½ cup Monin Caramel Syrup
- ¼ tsp salt
- 6-8 slices brioche bread (1 inch thick)
- 4 tbsp butter
- Monin Caramel Sauce (for garnish)
- Candied pecans (optional for garnish)
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 190°C
- In a bowl, whisk together half & half, eggs, Monin Caramel Syrup, and salt
- Dip bread slices in custard mixture, soaking for 30 seconds per side ,Let sit for 1-2 minutes
- Heat 1 tbsp butter in a sauté pan over medium-low heat Cook 2 slices at a time, flipping until golden (2-3 minutes per side)
- Place cooked bread on a rack in the oven for 5 minutes Repeat with remaining slices
- Garnish with Monin Caramel Sauce and candied pecans before serving
