Ingredients

  • MONIN Gingerbread Syrup: 20 ml
  • Salted Butter: 25 gm
  • Flour: 65 gm
  • Grain Sugar: 30 gm
  • Honey: 20 ml
  • Baking Soda: 2 gm
  • Ginger Powder: 4 gm.

Preparation

  1. Prepare the Dough:In a mixing bowl, combine the salted butter and grain sugar
  2. Cream them together until light and fluffy, Add the MONIN Gingerbread Syrup and honey
  3. Mix until well incorporated
  4. Mix Dry Ingredients:In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and ginger powder
  5. Combine:Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture
  6. Mix until a soft dough forms
  7. Chill the Dough:Wrap the dough in cling film and refrigerate for about 30 minutes to make it easier to handle
  8. Shape and Bake:Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F), Roll out the dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness, Cut out shapes using cookie cutters, Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper
  9. Bake:Bake in the preheated oven for 8–10 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden, Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely
  10. These cookies are perfect for a festive treat, especially when paired with a warm beverage like spiced tea or coffee
