Passion Fruit Barfi

This barfi brings together the richness of khoya with the vibrant tang of MONIN Passion Fruit Mix. The result is a dessert that’s equal parts tropical and traditional, with a luscious golden hue and a hint of nostalgia in every bite.

Ingredients

  • MONIN Passion Fruit Mix – 100ml
  • Khoya (mawa)
  • crumbled – 250g
  • Milk powder – 2 tbsp
  • Ghee – 1 tbsp
  • Saffron (optional)

Garnish

Chopped pistachios

Preparation

  1. Heat ghee in a pan and add the crumbled khoya, stirring until smooth and warm
  2. Mix in the milk powder and MONIN Passion Fruit Mix, cooking until the mixture thickens and comes together
  3. Transfer the mixture to a greased tray, spread evenly, and allow it to cool completely
  4. Cut into squares and garnish with saffron strands and chopped pistachios before serving
